Food was good. Staff is very attentive to children and generally friendly. The ambience is quaint and cozy.

We waited more than an hour for the food. That was an imposition. Since the chanterelles were out, green beans were served with the schnitzel. Nevertheless, the proud price of € 18.10 remained. That really shouldn't be. After the plates were on the table, it took another 4 minutes before the cutlery was there. You could have put a basket of bread down during the long wait. The service and payment was a bit uncoordinated. There is one star for the really delicious food.

Friendly and open-minded service. Good selection of dishes, unfortunately little choice for vegetarians. Extensive regional game selection. Adjacent explorers big and small can marvel at a few animals. The area also invites you to take a walk (including nature trail, quail mountain). Dogs are very welcome.

It took some time to look after us, but there were also other guests. There was probably also a party in the hall. The menus came and drinks were ordered, and ashtrays. While waiting for the drinks, we ordered the ashtrays again when the waitress came by. Then the drinks came at some point. One beer too little, the bottle of wine not particularly cold (in summer) without the bottle cooler ordered. We were also allowed to open the bottle and pour it ourselves. Bottle cooler reordered, came, but warm. So back again and put in ice cubes. A beer and the ashtray were still missing. Ordered food. Want to get the ashtrays in person at the bar. "I'll take it out immediately", it said. It went on like this for a while. The missing beer came after a few prompts. Eventually the ashtrays too. Then the food came, except for two. The staff did not notice this, despite the cutlery that was in front of them. After they had eaten their food, the boss came and asked if everything was OK. NO, two more are missing! Then she did it promptly. We said that there should be a round of schnapps in it. Only for the two who still have to wait for their food The food came and it was shoveled in so that we can disappear as soon as possible. Ordered and checked invoice. One meal too much. The boss was standing next to the table when we were obviously pissed off about what had happened. NOTHING! An apology or something NOTHING! "Have a nice evening despite everything" Were her words goodbye. The two young and inexperienced conditions can do absolutely nothing for it! If you are not instructed and have to do the free seat completely alone. If you want to run a large shop, you can not only work with apprentices and / or temporary staff in the service. Otherwise you have to get involved as a boss yourself. Although this boss could also be soled while walking. So eat delicious Service the last I am rooted and have been there many times. It was always something. Usually wait a long time. I kept giving them a chance, but it was final NEVER NEVER AGAIN !!!

A very nice atmosphere and a good kitchen. We had eaten game dishes, which tasted very good. It is cooked with regional dishes. The prices are okay too. The landlords were very nice and friendly and run the restaurant with a lot of passion. You can only recommend the country inn. There is also an outdoor seating area in summer. The location is also very good. The Muldenradweg is nearby. This country inn is always worth a visit.

During a bike ride along the Mulderadwegs we stopped here for a rest. We did not regret it! Unfortunately, country inns of this kind are far too rare in eastern Germany. We were greeted by the owner friendly and enjoyed bacon cake and wild boar soup. Perfect! The beer was served pleasantly tempered. A special feature is the bicycle self-help station in front of the inn, where you can repair your bike or just inflate air.

Nice country inn, cozy atmosphere and the food was great again. Come back again, the castles can really only recommend.
